About
Alexander Harriss Mabry Paraiso — Biography.
I. Background
Alexander Harriss Mabry Paraiso has built his professional career around storytelling and the construction of narrative worlds across many formats and disciplines. His work has always been tied to the same need: finding new ways to tell stories and to connect emotionally with an audience.
He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra and specialized training in screenwriting and the development of audiovisual formats. He has worked in television, digital media, branding, editorial content, and creative direction.
II. Audiovisual and editorial
In the audiovisual field he worked as director, producer, and writer on programs for Aragón Televisión, and as a script analyst for production companies including Sogecine, Morena Films, and Telecinco.
He later developed part of his career in New York at People en Español, where he worked as online editor and head of video strategy, designing editorial content, audiovisual pieces, and digital formats aimed at large audiences.
He also brought that narrative vision into the business world through Golden Promise Brewing, a project where he served as creative director and founder, developing brand identity, storytelling, copywriting, and collaborations with artists and musicians.
III. Creative search
In recent years he has used the periods between freelance jobs to deepen a constant personal and creative search. During this time he has developed improvised pieces that move organically between comedy, the absurd, surrealism, drama, and tragedy, exploring new ways to narrate and to build meaning out of intuition and emotion.
Painting, which had long been a quiet need, eventually broke through and became an unlimited space for exploration. There he found an open language in which to let go, investigate, discover connections, and look for answers about identity, memory, and emotional perception.
IV. Artistic practice
His artistic practice also emerged as a tool for observation, focus, and emotional channeling. Living for years with ADD, anxiety, and depressive episodes, creation has consistently worked as a space for concentration, exploration, and release — a way of transforming scattered attention, mental noise, and emotional intensity into visual and narrative language.
That tension between the need for recognition and the search for honest creation runs through much of the project. The work thus becomes a territory of negotiation between impulse and control, between chaos and synthesis.
V. Music and writing
Writing continues to hold a central place in his practice, mainly through song lyrics that arise constantly and that he develops from improvised melodies, guide vocals, and production processes built through carefully crafted prompts and AI tools.
The result of this musical research is currently materialized in two albums and three singles available on more than twenty streaming and digital distribution platforms, consolidating a parallel creative line deeply connected to the conceptual concerns of the broader artistic project.
VI. Convergence
All of this trajectory currently converges into a multidisciplinary artistic practice where painting, writing, music, and audiovisual work function as different languages of a single inquiry: to explore identity, emotion, and the human condition through the act of narrating.
